The Kosovo Security Force (Forca e Sigurisë së Kosovës) has carried out a joint Tabletop Exercise (TTX) in Drenas in cooperation with the U.S. Army Civil-Military Support Element (CMSE) and the Municipality of Drenas.

The exercise was designed to test institutional coordination and response mechanisms in emergency situations, with a particular focus on flooding scenarios affecting the Drenas area.

Representatives from local and central institutions participated in the simulation, working through a structured crisis scenario to evaluate decision-making processes, communication systems, and resource management during emergencies.

According to FSK, participants also shared best practices in crisis management and emergency response, aiming to strengthen operational readiness across institutions.

The exercise helped identify potential challenges and improve inter-institutional coordination, contributing to faster and more efficient responses in future crisis situations.

Officials emphasized that such joint activities with the United States Army enhance Kosovo’s preparedness and strengthen cooperation in the field of civil emergency management.
