Another protest calling for justice for the former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) leaders on trial in The Hague will be held on Sunday, July 5, in Zadar, Croatia.
The announcement was made by Hysni Gucati, chairman of the KLA War Veterans’ Organization (OVL-KLA), during a press conference.
“We will organize a protest on Sunday in Zadar, Croatia, at 6:00 p.m. The protest was initiated by citizens and will be organized by Salih Ukaj, Nikollë Prekaj, Pal Palaj, and Sami Gashi,” Gucati said.
Regarding the verdict expected from the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague for the four former KLA leaders, Gucati said he remains hopeful that justice will prevail.
“We are in the final stage of the process, and we hope the decision will be made fairly and impartially. We believe that the work carried out by the defense team and by us will be properly recognized and that the verdict will be in our favor,” he added.
