Kosovo Defence Minister Meets Erdoğan as Five Kosovo Cadets Graduate from Turkish Military Academy

Kosovo’s Acting Minister of Defence, Ejup Maqedonci, attended the graduation ceremony of cadets from the Turkish Armed Forces Military Academy, held as part of Türkiye’s Victory Day celebrations.

Five cadets from Kosovo were also among the graduates, having successfully completed their military studies at the academy.

During his visit, Maqedonci met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler, conveying his congratulations on Türkiye’s Victory Day.

Maqedonci also congratulated the five Kosovo cadets, praising their dedication, discipline and achievements, and wishing them successful careers in service to Kosovo.

He emphasised the importance of defence relations between Kosovo and Türkiye, highlighting military education and the training of a new generation of personnel as concrete examples of the two countries’ ongoing defence cooperation.
