New Members of Kosovo’s Central Election Commission Sworn In

The newly appointed members of Kosovo’s Central Election Commission (CEC) were sworn in at the Presidency before Acting President Albulena Haxhiu.

The swearing-in ceremony marks the beginning of the new CEC members’ mandate.

Ten members attended the ceremony, including CEC Chairperson Kreshnik Radoniqi.

Two of the newly appointed members, Hysen Durmishi and Violeta Salihu, represent the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV).

The other three major opposition parties are represented by one member each.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) will be represented by Rashit Qalaj, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) by Ilir Fetahu, while the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) will be represented by Muharrem Nitaj.
