Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Donald Trump has made the decision to grant Ukraine a license to produce Patriot missiles.
Zelensky said the two countries already have a concrete agreement on the matter, which Kyiv has been seeking for months.
“There is a concrete agreement in place,” Zelensky told reporters. According to him, during their most recent meeting, Trump confirmed that he had made the final decision to grant Ukraine a license to manufacture Patriot missiles.
The two presidents met this week in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
