Shaip Kamberi, head of the Albanian electoral list in the Preševo Valley, stated that politicians in Serbia continue to cling to their colonialist ambitions.
According to him, many still harbour unrealistic hopes of regaining control over Kosovo.
“They continue to pursue their colonialist dream, having lost Kosovo while holding on to the imaginary hope of regaining control over it. Their politics continue to be dominated by medieval myths.
“So far, no political class in Serbia has managed to develop the political maturity needed to think strategically and work towards easing relations with Kosovo, improving relations with Albanians in the Preševo Valley and building better ties,” Kamberi said.
