Internationally acclaimed Albanian-American singer Bebe Rexha has reacted to the ongoing protests in Albania, sharing a video of the demonstrations on social media with the message: “Young people are the future.”
Her statement comes as students and citizens continue to take to the streets in Tirana, voicing their frustrations. What began with demands for better university conditions, greater student support and more employment opportunities has expanded into broader anti-government protests, with demonstrators calling for Prime Minister Edi Rama’s resignation.
As clashes between protesters and police intensify, the demonstrations are drawing growing public attention, with young people increasingly at the center of the movement.
