The spokesman of the German Government, Steffen Hebstreit, has confirmed that the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, will meet with the President of Serbia, Aleksander Vucic, on July 19 in Belgrade, Express reports.
As Danas reports, the focus will be on interstate, as well as international and European policy issues.
The two leaders are expected to participate in the “Summit of important raw materials” later, according to the spokesperson of the German Government.
As part of the summit, Danas reports that a memorandum of understanding will be signed between Serbia and the EU Commission on strategic partnership for sustainable raw materials, battery production chains and electric vehicles.
Then, around 10:50 a joint press conference is planned for Chancellor Scholz and Serbian President Vucic.
