In today’s protest against the arrest of Blerim Ramadani, Mevludin Bajrami, a war veteran, condemned the arrest of the former KLA soldier, Blerim Ramadani, and his sending to extradition detention by the North Macedonian police and the local court, described this act as unacceptable.
The veterans and comrades of Blerim Ramadan demand his immediate release, the withdrawal of the arrest warrant issued by the Vucic regime and the non-repetition of the actions of the police and judicial authorities under the dictates of Serbia.
“In my name and in your name, I greet all the families of war martyrs, war invalids. And former KLA soldiers.
The arrest of the former KLA soldier Blerim Ramadani and his sending to extradition detention by the police of North Macedonia and by the local court is unacceptable. “We, the veterans and comrades-in-arms of Blerim Ramadan, demand the immediate release, the withdrawal of the arrest warrant of the Vucic regime, and the non-repetition of the evaluation of the police and judicial authorities under the dictates of Vucic and Serbia under the dictates of the KLA,” said Bajrami.
Bajrami emphasized that this act, 25 years after the just struggle of Albanians for freedom and equality, is unacceptable and demanded the immediate release of Ramadan
“Blerim Ramadan has been sentenced to 30 days of detention by decision of the Court of Appeal in Skopje. Blerim Ramadani was detained on July 17, 2024 at the Jazhinca border crossing based on an arrest warrant issued by the Belgrade court through Interpol Serbia, this act 25 years after the just struggle of Albanians for freedom and equality, democracy and independence is unacceptable and we demand his immediate release without further delay and his return to his family. Every day of delay is a sign of humiliating and insulting our just war, and this mentality and activity will not be tolerated”, said Bajrami.
