American President Joe Biden will not be the Democratic candidate for the American elections held this year. He has withdrawn from the race.
Biden has decided that in the Democratic race for the new candidate, he will support Kamala Harris, who is the vice president.
“Dear Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My first decision as the party’s candidate in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as Vice President. And it was the best decision I made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement to Kamala to be our party’s candidate this year. Democrats – it’s time to unite and defeat Trump. Let’s do this,” Biden wrote on Instagram.
