NATO’s mission in Kosovo, KFOR, has released photos of the border line monitoring conducted by helicopter.
In a Facebook post, KFOR stated that these activities help promote sustainable security for all communities and consolidate regional stability.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate—based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999—to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, ensuring freedom of movement at all times and in an impartial manner.
KFOR acts as the third responder in security matters, in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission (EULEX), which are the first and second responders, respectively,” the statement added.
