A tragic event occurred late last night in Gjilan, where three individuals lost their lives as a result of an accident in Lake Badovc, reports RKS NEWS.
In response to this serious incident, Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, stated that it was an accident, adding that with the assistance of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) and firefighters, the bodies of the deceased were retrieved.
According to him, field experts are currently investigating the cause of the accident.

“Last night after midnight, three young individuals lost their lives in a single-vehicle accident, of whom two have already been identified.
Immediately following the accident, the Kosovo Police intervened, and with the assistance of the FSK and firefighters, the vehicle was removed from Lake Badovc along with the bodies of the deceased. Currently, field experts are conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident.
I express my sincerest condolences to the families of the victims, and during this difficult time, we stand by them.
I urge all citizens to drive carefully in order to avoid such accidents in the future.”
