President Vjosa Osmani shared excerpts from her speech delivered yesterday at the Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Osmani stated that the aggressor should never be rewarded with the land of the victim, adding that just as they failed in Kosovo, Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, “barbaric forces will also fail in Ukraine.”

She emphasized Kosovo’s support for Ukraine.

“Yesterday, in front of other leaders at the Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit in Dubrovnik, I stressed that the lessons of the past remind us that accommodating aggressors never brings lasting peace. Our solidarity with the people of Ukraine is deeply rooted in the painful experience of our own people. Therefore, we will continue to support the right of the Ukrainian people to freedom, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Until victory,” Osmani stated.
