With the decision to open the first chapters for membership in the European family, Albania’s integration into the European Union begins a new and decisive chapter today.
We greatly celebrate this achievement for Albania! Congratulations to the Albanian people and government! I wish them an obstacle-free journey and progress based on meritocracy and the fulfillment of reforms that will primarily benefit the citizens and the country.
The European Union is our common goal with Albania, not only as a membership target but also as a value for our democratic societies, welfare for our citizens, and the orientation of our two states. From this journey that Albania is starting today, without a doubt, Kosovo will also benefit through lessons and experiences that will bring us even closer to Albania and together to the European Union.
