Prime Minister Albin Kurti met today with Günter Sautter, the Political Director of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Prime Minister’s Office announced that the meeting focused on the “results of the Berlin Process, including the six ministerial meetings, and we noted as significant achievements the new agreement on Access to Higher Education and the Declaration on the Regional Common Market Action Plan (CRM) 2025–2028.”
Additionally, the meeting addressed strengthening and deepening bilateral relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Germany, as well as regional cooperation, the dialogue in Brussels, and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Kurti thanked Sautter for his visit and expressed his appreciation for Germany’s diplomatic, military, and economic support, which he stated has been “essential for the liberation, independence, and development of our country.”
The Prime Minister congratulated Sautter on his new position in the Foreign Ministry and offered full cooperation in advancing the shared agenda for the protection and promotion of democracy and fundamental freedoms.
The German official was accompanied at the meeting by his country’s ambassador, Jörn Rohde.
