The Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, arrived in Belgrade for a visit yesterday evening and today met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Prime Minister Miloš Vučević. After a series of meetings, Vučić and Tusk addressed the public.
The President of Serbia stated that Tusk was the reason he did not attend the BRICS summit, to which he had been invited by Russian President Vladimir Putin, adding that the Polish Prime Minister is now seeking to impose sanctions against Russia.
This visit was one of the justifications provided by the Serbian President for not attending the BRICS summit, which is taking place from October 22 to 24 in Kazan, as previously reported by Nova.
Specifically, Vučić mentioned that he informed President Putin that he was prevented from attending due to the arrival of European officials in Belgrade, but noted that this was not the only reason.
