Former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the American people after an electoral process that, according to him, reflects the values of democracy and the power of the free will of the U.S. citizens.
He also congratulated President Donald Trump on his victory in the presidential election.
Haradinaj highlighted the importance of President Trump’s leadership for both Kosovo and the United States, recalling that under his leadership, the Kosovo Army was established— a historic moment for the country.
He is confident that the U.S. will continue to remain Kosovo’s strongest and most unwavering ally.
“Congratulations to the American people for an electoral process that reflects the values of democracy and the power of the free will of its citizens. A special congratulations to President Donald Trump on his election,” said Haradinaj, adding that under President Trump’s leadership, Kosovo has made significant steps in strengthening its institutions and consolidating statehood.
Haradinaj emphasized that U.S. support is crucial for Kosovo’s continued journey toward NATO membership, and this support will remain an important factor in Kosovo’s efforts to secure a safe and stable future as part of the Euro-Atlantic family.
“The consolidation of the state of Kosovo and our short-term goal of NATO membership remain a priority, and U.S. support is key to achieving this objective,” Haradinaj concluded.
