President Vjosa Osmani announced “wonderful news” from Halifax, writing on Facebook that “Kosovo and Canada will begin the Military Training Cooperation Program.”
She said that the good news was shared with her and the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj, by Canada’s Minister of Defense, Bill Blair.
“Together with Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci, at the Halifax International Security Forum, we met with Canada’s Minister of Defense, Bill Blair, who gave us the good news about this program, following the request I made to the former Minister of Defense during my previous visit to Canada,” she said.
“Kosovo and Canada – a growing partnership for the benefit of citizens, peace, and security!” Osmani wrote.
