As part of the ongoing efforts to digitize election processes, the Central Election Commission (KQZ) has announced the launch of an electronic platform at https://certifikimi.kqz-ks.org/. This platform is designed to facilitate political parties in submitting their certification applications and lists of candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Kosovo, scheduled for February 9, 2025.

All registered political parties and declared coalitions in Kosovo will receive “User” credentials from KQZ through its Office for the Registration, Certification, and Financial Control of Political Parties (ZRCKFSP). These credentials will allow parties to access the platform and upload their applications and candidate lists for certification.

Additionally, the platform will be made accessible to other political entities, such as initiatives and independent candidates, who wish to apply for certification to participate in the elections.

To ensure the platform is user-friendly, ZRCKFSP has held training sessions with representatives from political parties. The office has also set up two assistance desks and a dedicated contact number (038 200 81 010) to provide help from 08:00 to 16:00.

The application period for political parties to apply for certification and submit their candidate lists started on September 1, 2024, and will end on December 11, 2024, at 16:00.
