Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, met with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola during her visit to Brussels, where she reaffirmed Kosovo’s commitment to a close partnership with the European Parliament. She emphasized the importance of continued support for Kosovo’s EU integration progress.
During their discussion, President Osmani informed President Metsola about the latest security developments, including the recent terrorist attack on Kosovo’s vital infrastructure. She stressed the clear links between Serbia and these attacks, recalling last year’s aggression in Banjskë, for which there has been no accountability. Osmani emphasized that it is crucial for those responsible for these crimes to be held accountable and face justice.
Additionally, President Osmani called for continued support for Kosovo’s EU candidate status application and the removal of restrictive measures imposed on the country.
