Germany’s Ambassador Rohde Praises Kosovo’s Progress in Fighting Corruption

Kosovo has moved up 10 places in Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index, marking significant progress in its fight against corruption.

Germany’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, commended Kosovo’s institutions for this achievement, emphasizing the country’s commitment to the rule of law, transparency, and good governance.

Since 2020, Kosovo has climbed 31 spots in the global ranking, now standing at 73rd place worldwide and second in the region, just behind Montenegro.

“This success demonstrates Kosovo’s dedication to strengthening the rule of law, ensuring transparency, and improving governance. Keep up this positive trend!” Rohde wrote on platform X.

Kosovo’s anti-corruption efforts have been a key focus of the government, with reforms aimed at increasing accountability and reducing institutional misconduct.
