In the largest drone assault since the start of Moscow’s full-scale invasion in February 2022, Russia launched 267 drones on Ukraine overnight, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.
According to military spokesman Yuriy Ignat, Ukraine’s air defense intercepted 138 drones, while 119 were reportedly “lost” without causing damage. However, he did not specify the fate of the remaining ten drones.
This attack marks a significant escalation in Russia’s use of unmanned aerial vehicles, underscoring the growing role of drone warfare in the ongoing conflict.
