Starting today, all passengers arriving at the Bus Station in Prishtina from any city in Kosovo will benefit from a free daily ticket for urban transport in the capital, with no additional charge.
The news was announced by the Mayor of Prishtina, Perparim Rama.
In a post on Facebook, he highlighted that this decision, which is being implemented for the first time in the history of urban transport in Prishtina, is part of the reform for modernizing public services and comes into effect on March 17, 2025.
“The benefits of this initiative are expected to be numerous, including:
✔ Reduction of traffic and environmental pollution
✔ Increased safety and organization in public transport
This is another important step towards a more functional and safer capital for all citizens!” reads the announcement.
