The “Drita” Foundation will hold an interfaith dialogue roundtable today, following the Albanian model, at the “BogdaniPolis” center located in the Cathedral.
“We are the hosts of this special conference, which will include panelists from the Vatican, Germany, Albania, and Kosovo. However, what is important will be a dialogue panel between the leaders of the religious communities of Kosovo,” announces the Diocese of Prizren.
The opening will take place at 10:30 AM, and at 4:30 PM, the panel of religious leaders and the signing of the resolution by them will follow.
Welcoming speeches will be given by: Monsignor Zef Gashi, president of the “Drita” Foundation, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the Mayor of Prishtina, Perparim Rama, and the Apostolic Nuncio of the Vatican, Jean Marie Speich.
A dialogue panel will also take place, where views and ideas will be exchanged among the religious leaders, with speeches from Naim Tërnava, the Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community in Kosovo, Monsignor Dodë Gjergji, from the Catholic Church, Driton Krasniqi, from the Evangelical Protestant Church, and Hysen Hyseni, from the Jewish Community.
