The Kosovo Police have reported finding a Zolla weapon in the village of Banjska, Zvecan.
According to the police announcement, the weapon discovered is of Serbian manufacture.
“On 26.03.2025, at approximately 15:05, police units, through operational routes, managed to find a Zolla M-80, 64mm, Serbian-made weapon in the mountains of the village of Banjska, Zvecan,” the report states.
Relevant police units, including the specialized unit for handling explosive devices, have arrived at the scene. The weapon has been seized as material evidence, and investigations into the case are ongoing.
“All actions taken have been reported to the State Prosecutor, who has ordered the initiation of the case ‘Unlawful Possession, Control, or Ownership of Weapons,’” the announcement added.
