Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, is representing Kosovo at the meeting of European Union and Western Balkans foreign ministers taking place in Luxembourg.
On the sidelines of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, an informal working dinner has been organized at the invitation of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas. The dinner aims to provide a platform for open and direct exchanges between the EU’s foreign ministers and their Western Balkans counterparts.
Key discussions will focus on the EU’s enlargement process with the Western Balkans, a crucial topic for Kosovo’s European path.
During her stay in Luxembourg, Gërvalla is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with foreign ministers from several EU member states. Talks will center around the latest developments in the region, Kosovo’s progress toward EU membership, and the importance of equal inclusion of all Western Balkan countries in integration processes.
This engagement comes at a critical time for EU-Western Balkans relations, where political support is vital to accelerating the region’s path toward integration.
