Kosovo’s Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, in an interview with TRT Balkan on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, revealed exclusively that Bulgaria is ready to join the military agreement signed between Kosovo, Albania, and Croatia.
Maqedonci also expressed his expectation that other countries from the region will join the agreement.
“We have received confirmation from Bulgaria, which had earlier discussed the possibility of joining this trilateral agreement with the Croatian Minister. I firmly believe that other countries from the region — especially those that share common values with us and, importantly, common interests — will also join this agreement, or rather, this declaration, which, I must emphasize again, is always aimed at peace, stability, and security,” said Minister Ejup Maqedonci.
In his interview with TRT Balkan — set to be published in full soon — the Minister of Defense also discusses the security situation in Kosovo and the region, relations with Türkiye, and other current issues.
