The judicial review session for the Banjska terrorist attack is underway at the Basic Court in Pristina, where Prosecutor Naim Abazi presented key evidence, including videos and photographs from the scene, aimed at demonstrating the planning and execution of the assault.

“I witnessed one of the most disturbing scenes and the heaviest weaponry completely unlike a normal crime scene,” said Abazi. “I saw automatic weapons, sniper rifles, mines, grenades, other firearms, military uniforms, vehicles, and radio communication devices used in the attack.”

He showed footage of trucks and other vehicles monitoring the roads before the assault began, underlining the detailed planning behind the operation.

“The videos clearly reveal how the group meticulously planned the deployment and entry points for their operation in the area,” Abazi explained.

The indictment names 45 suspects in total, including the alleged ringleader Milan Radoičić, who remains at large. However, only three are currently on trial in person: Dušan Maksimović, Vladimir Toliq, and Blagoje Spasojević.

The trial continues to draw significant public and media attention due to the nature of the crime and its implications for regional stability.
