The European Union’s Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Peter Sorensen, has concluded a meeting lasting over an hour with Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister and chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi.

Following the meeting, Sorensen addressed the media with a brief statement, without providing details about the content of the discussions.

He emphasized that the visit to Pristina is part of his daily duties under his mandate as the EU’s Special Envoy, and he announced that similar meetings will take place in the future.

“Today I am in Pristina as part of fulfilling my mandate. My team and I are conducting working-level visits — this is a regular part of our mission, and you will see more similar visits in the future. I’m very glad you’re here. From here, I will continue on to Belgrade, and then return to Brussels. That’s all for now,” Sorensen stated.

After Pristina, he is set to travel to the Serbian capital to continue his agenda of meetings within the EU-facilitated dialogue process.
