The workers of the “Pastrimi” company will once again protest tomorrow in front of the Municipality of Prishtina.
This was announced through a press release just a few minutes ago.
“Through this announcement, we inform you that on May 22, 2025, starting at 07:00, a peaceful gathering – a public strike – will be organized by the workers of KRM ‘Pastrimi’, in front of the Municipality of Prishtina building. The purpose of the strike is to express dissatisfaction and to demand an urgent solution to the severe financial situation our company is facing, due to the municipality’s failure to fulfill its financial obligations,” the statement reads.
They also provided details regarding the format of tomorrow’s protest:
Protest Format:
Participants: Around 300 workers and employees of KRM “Pastrimi”
Location: Around the building of the Municipality of Prishtina, with continuous presence
Vehicles: Around 20 trucks will be used, parked in an orderly manner without blocking emergency roads
Nature of the strike: Peaceful, without interference in the activities of public institutions, and coordinated with police authorities
