UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that the United States took action to “mitigate” the threat posed by Iran’s nuclear program.
In a statement, Starmer affirmed: “Iran’s nuclear program is a serious threat to international security. Iran must never be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon, and the US has taken action to mitigate this threat.”
He emphasized that the situation in the Middle East remains unstable and that regional stability is a priority. Starmer urged Iran to “return to the negotiating table and reach a diplomatic solution to end this crisis.”
