The U.S. Department of Defense has released video footage and photos of seven B-2A “Spirit” strategic bombers that took off from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri on the night of June 20, as part of a strike targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities under the operation Midnight Hammer.

Each aircraft was armed with two GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrators (MOP), 13,600-kilogram “bunker buster” bombs designed to destroy deeply buried underground targets.

Additional documentation confirms that the bombers returned to Whiteman Air Force Base on June 22, after more than 36 hours of continuous flight during which they conducted strikes over Iranian territory.

In the early hours of June 22, the United States carried out a major airstrike on three key Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
