Following a bomb threat at the Kosovo Assembly, elected deputies were evacuated from the building, and police also ordered media teams and nearby citizens to leave the vicinity.
Increased Kosovo Police forces have arrived at the scene and are continuing to monitor the situation.
On “Speciale” of Klan Kosova, former Lieutenant Colonel Refki Morina stated that police units will gradually inspect every area of the Assembly. He believes elected deputies will be able to return in a few hours to continue the 42nd constitutive session.
“I think they’re doing their job in the best possible way. This outer physical perimeter will gradually extend inside, with special equipment and detectors. All parliamentary premises will be thoroughly checked, and in this way, it will be possible for parliamentarians to return again, sometime tonight,” Morina said.
