Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), expressed concern over the current political and economic situation in Kosovo following a party leadership meeting.
Haradinaj highlighted that delays in budget approval and issues with public sector salaries are creating serious difficulties across the country. He attributed these problems to the Kurti government, which he said has obstructed and delayed key processes.
“After concluding the party leadership meeting, our discussion focused on the political developments in the country. A major concern is the long delays and inability to approve the national budget, along with other difficult situations. Workers at RTK remain unpaid,” Haradinaj stated.
Haradinaj also emphasized that the solution to this crisis is the announcement of new parliamentary elections, and he confirmed that AAK has already begun preparations for them.
“There are many other concerns discussed today. AAK assesses that all these challenges Kosovo is facing are due to Kurti’s approach, which continuously obstructs and delays processes. We believe that early elections are the way out of this situation, and preparations for parliamentary elections are underway,” he said.
