Kosovo–Albania Cooperation Strengthened as KSF Commander Meets Albanian Armed Forces Chief

The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, hosted a high-level meeting with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania (FARSH), Lieutenant General Arben Kingji, reaffirming the strong bilateral cooperation between Kosovo and Albania in the field of security and defense.

During the meeting, General Jashari expressed his appreciation for General Kingji’s leadership of the Albanian Armed Forces and for the brotherly support and continuous assistance provided to the KSF.

The two generals discussed current security developments and emphasized the role of the KSF in guaranteeing Kosovo’s security, highlighting its contribution as a key factor in maintaining regional stability.

Both sides praised the progress of the KSF in development and modernization, as well as the performance and interoperability of KSF troops during multinational exercises and operations.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of FARSH’s support in the continued development of the KSF, particularly in the areas of education, training, and experience-sharing, aimed at further advancing bilateral military cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the generals reiterated that deepening cooperation between the Armed Forces of Albania and the Kosovo Security Force remains a strategic national priority, reflecting shared security interests and long-term regional stability goals.
