Kosovo Police Arrest Four in Separate Drug Operations ‘Pinku’ and ‘Dora e Kapur’

Kosovo Police, through the Directorate for Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking (DHTN), arrested four suspects and seized drugs, cash, and weapons in two separate operations.

Case 1: Operation “Pinku”

On January 14, 2026, at around 15:20 in Fushë Kosovë, police arrested one suspect during a drug transaction with another individual.

Seized items included:

  • 2 small bags of marijuana (2 grams) from the first suspect
  • 9 small bags of cocaine (4.9 grams) and 8 small bags of marijuana (12.7 grams) from the second suspect
  • Cash totaling €475, suspected to be proceeds from drug sales
  • Two mobile phones

A subsequent search of the first suspect’s residence revealed:

  • A firearm
  • 15.8 grams of cocaine
  • 79 ecstasy tablets (37.7 grams)
  • 2.6 grams of red-colored cocaine
  • 322.9 grams of marijuana
  • Two digital scales and empty packaging bags

The suspects were interviewed and placed in 48-hour detention by order of the responsible prosecutor.


Case 2: Operation “Dora e Kapur”

Also on January 14, 2026, in Pristina, DHTN arrested a suspect in flagrante with 6 doses of heroin (4 grams) on “Imzot Nikprelaj” street.

A search of his residence uncovered:

  • Approximately 9 grams of hashish and 18 grams of marijuana
  • 52 heroin packages (14 grams)
  • A hunting rifle with 9 rounds
  • Cash totaling €25,160
  • A vehicle, digital scale, and two mobile phones

Kosovo Police confirmed that they will continue their efforts to combat drug trafficking and bring all perpetrators to justice.
