The Basic Court in Prizren has announced that it has so far received four requests for the imposition of pretrial detention against 11 individuals, who are part of the 109 people arrested on suspicion of vote manipulation in the Municipality of Prizren.
The spokesperson of the Basic Court of Prizren, Marcel Lekaj, said that the process is ongoing and that the court is still awaiting additional requests from the Prizren Basic Prosecution.
“I inform you that, as of this moment, the Basic Court in Prizren has received four requests for the imposition of pretrial detention against 11 persons. A hearing has been scheduled at 14:00, while the next hearing is scheduled for 15:00, and we are still awaiting the submission of further requests from the Basic Prosecution in Prizren,” Lekaj said.
