KFOR Mission Commander Major General Özkan Ulutaş has met with Lieutenant General Peter Scott, the Deputy Commander of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command (AJFC) Naples, at KFOR headquarters in Film City, Prishtina.
According to an official KFOR statement, the meeting focused on the current security situation in Kosovo, with Major General Ulutaş providing a comprehensive briefing on developments on the ground.
Commitment to a Safe and Stable Environment
During the meeting, Ulutaş reaffirmed KFOR’s continued commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo, stressing that the mission operates in an impartial and transparent manner, in line with its NATO mandate.
The discussion also highlighted KFOR’s role in supporting regional stability and its close coordination with NATO command structures, including AJFC Naples, which oversees NATO operations in the Western Balkans.
