Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Kosovo, Georg Schnetzer, to discuss current political developments and the future of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, Ambassador Schnetzer congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on his decisive victory in the December 28 elections, underlining the importance of the democratic process and the legitimacy of the election results.

The two officials exchanged views on the ongoing political developments in Kosovo, including the process of forming the new government, as well as key areas of cooperation between Kosovo and Austria, aimed at further strengthening intergovernmental relations.

Prime Minister Kurti outlined the priorities of the new mandate, emphasizing planned infrastructure investments, Kosovo’s firm commitment to NATO membership, and continued integration into the European Union.

He also reaffirmed the government’s ongoing engagement in promoting peace, stability, and security, both domestically and in the wider region.

The meeting highlighted Austria’s continued interest in supporting Kosovo’s democratic consolidation and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, as well as the strong partnership between the two countries.
