A 4.5 magnitude earthquake struck Bosnia and Herzegovina today, with tremors felt as far away as Croatia.

According to the Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the earthquake’s epicenter was located 39 kilometers northwest of Zenica, at a depth of ten kilometers and 29 kilometers northeast of Knezhevi.

The tremors were most strongly felt by residents of Tešanj, who reported that the shaking lasted for about 20 seconds.

The tremors were also felt in Travnik, Zenica, Zavidovići, Čelnica, Banja Luka, and Gradačac.

Currently, there are no reports of material damage or injuries.
