The Government of Kosovo has announced that Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti will hold a press conference today at 17:00, at the Government Building in Prishtina.
According to the official statement, no details have been provided regarding the topic or purpose of the conference.
“The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, will hold a press conference.
Location: Government Building.
Time: 17:00,” the statement from the Prime Minister’s Office reads.
This announcement comes one day after Kurti failed to form a new government, as his proposed cabinet received only 56 votes in favor, 52 against, and 4 abstentions—falling short of the required 61 votes to secure a majority in the Assembly.
The upcoming conference is expected to clarify Kurti’s next political steps following the parliamentary deadlock and growing calls from opposition parties for new elections.
