Former U.S. State Department official James Rubin testified today at the Hague Tribunal as the first defense witness for former President Hashim Thaçi.
Reacting to this, Ali Ahmeti, leader of BDI and former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) General Staff, stated that the truth has come to light and that all slanders and malicious propaganda were dismantled in court.
“James, thank you, thank you to the United States of America and the democratic world that supported the Albanian people’s call for freedom, democracy, and independence,” Ahmeti said, as reported by Klankosova.tv.
“Our war to defend our homes was just, necessary, and legitimate. That is why it was supported by Washington, Brussels, London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, and the entire freedom-loving world,” he emphasized.
