The Italian Ambassador to Kosovo, Antonello De Riu, met with the mayors of Leposaviq, Zubin Potok, and Zveçan municipalities.
In a post on the embassy’s official Facebook page, it was announced that the meeting discussed various issues, including education, healthcare, and security concerns. Additionally, they discussed increasing inter-cultural cooperation.

Ambassador De Riu engaged in productive and extensive discussions with the mayors of #Leposaviq, Lulzim Hetemi, #Zubin Potok, Izmir Zeqiri, and #Zveçan, Ilir Peci on several issues. These conversations covered topics such as social welfare, education, healthcare, and security concerns within the respective municipalities.
In addition to addressing these key public policy areas, Ambassador De Riu and the local mayors also explored potential avenues to enhance inter-cultural cooperation and collaboration among their communities.
The meetings provided an opportunity to identify mutually beneficial initiatives and to develop strategies to strengthen intercultural ties and understanding among all resident communities.
