The Appeals Court has begun hearings to review the appeal against the decision of the Basic Court in Prishtina in the case of Millosh Plleskoviq, who is accused of war crimes in the Prizren region.

On July 31, 2025, the Basic Court sentenced Plleskoviq to 15 years in prison for the killing of three Albanian civilians and the injuring of several others during the Kosovo war. The ruling was issued by Judge Rrahman Beqiri.

Plleskoviq had been held in pre-trial detention. According to the indictment, Plleskoviq, along with a group of armed Serbs, opened fire with Kalashnikov rifles in Prizren. The shooting resulted in the deaths of R.D., B.D., and F.B., while Xhenger Cana, Fevzi Cana, and Bashkim Kastrati survived.
