Around 140 U.S. soldiers have been injured so far in the war with Iran, according to information reported by Reuters and confirmed by the Pentagon.

The Pentagon said the injuries occurred during operations and clashes on the front lines of the conflict. The vast majority of the wounded sustained minor injuries, while 108 soldiers have already returned to duty after receiving medical treatment.

This figure had not been previously reported and appears significantly higher than the number initially published by the Pentagon.

According to the first reports, only eight seriously wounded U.S. soldiers had been mentioned, without including cases involving lighter injuries.
