The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement following the recent strikes against Hamas leadership, emphasizing that steps were taken to avoid civilian casualties.
“For years, these Hamas leadership members have directed the organization’s operations, been directly responsible for the brutal massacre of October 7, and have orchestrated and managed the war against the State of Israel. Prior to the strike, measures were taken to mitigate civilian harm, including the use of precision munitions and additional intelligence,” the statement read.
In the same communiqué, the IDF stressed its determination to continue military operations.
“IDF and ISA will continue to act with determination to defeat the Hamas terrorist organization responsible for the October 7 massacre,” the IDF added.
