The Commander of KFOR, Major General Enrico Barduani, met today with the Commander of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Boštjan Močnik, at the KFOR Headquarters in Camp Film City, Pristina.
“They discussed various topics, including sustainable security throughout Kosovo, the regional stability situation, and KFOR’s efforts in supporting the EU-facilitated dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade,” KFOR said in a statement.
Barduani also thanked Močnik for Slovenia’s contribution to the NATO mission in Kosovo and regional stability.
KFOR reiterated that it continues to implement its mandate—based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999—contributing to a safe environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, ensuring freedom of movement, at all times and impartially.
KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the EU Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
