Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi, stated that the letter from former Serbian Prime Minister Ana Bërnabiq, which opposes the implementation of the provisions of the Agreement that, according to him, confirm Kosovo’s statehood, has not yet been withdrawn.

Bislimi reported that this information was confirmed to him by the EU envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajčák, during a meeting they held on Tuesday.

“Today, we learned from Mr. Lajčák that the letter has not been withdrawn. However, what he wanted to convey in Pristina is that efforts are being made with Serbia for it to be withdrawn. But that is not the case.

The letter has not been withdrawn. Nor has there been a request for its withdrawal, but work is being done in that direction,” said Bislimi after the meeting with Lajčák.
