Acting Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, on Monday welcomed Borut Blaj, the newly appointed Ambassador of Slovenia to Kosovo, congratulating him on his new position.
During the meeting, Bislimi updated Ambassador Blaj on the dialogue process and the latest chief negotiators’ meeting held earlier this month in Brussels. He highlighted Serbia’s continued obstructive behavior, including withdrawal from the Basic Agreement and the Ohrid Annex, and the blocking of the formation of the Joint Commission on Persons Missing Due to Violence.
The discussion also focused on Kosovo’s European integration process. Bislimi thanked Slovenia for its ongoing partnership and support, emphasizing that Kosovo remains committed to its primary goal of achieving EU candidate status.
