Body of Missing 5-Year-Old Albanian Boy Reportedly Found in Switzerland’s Reuss River

It is reported that the lifeless body of a missing Albanian child has been found in the Reuss River in Switzerland.

Five-year-old Tian, together with his family, was involved in an accident in the Reuss River on Saturday while they were on a rubber boat.

Four days after his disappearance and following three days of intensive search efforts, the body of five-year-old Tian Rahimi has been found. This was confirmed to albinfo.ch by sources among volunteers who had been involved in the search.

As previously reported, five-year-old Tian, originally from North Macedonia, had been on a trip with his family when they were involved in an accident in the Reuss River near the locality of Mühlau on Saturday while on a rubber boat. His parents and his seven-year-old sister managed to swim to shore, while the five-year-old disappeared at that time.

Rescue teams conducted continuous searches with a large deployment of personnel. In addition to police patrols, drones, boats, a rescue helicopter, firefighters, and police divers were also involved in the operation.
